Starting this blog feels like the beginning of a long-time goal I’ve been eager to pursue. Growing up, I was always fascinated by social media—whether it was YouTube, Instagram, or just the overall idea of creating and sharing content. It had a special appeal that always drew me in. But every time I tried, I could never find my niche. I’d start with excitement for the first few days, but eventually, it felt more like a chore than something I truly wanted to do everyday. I was also too focused on what others might think of my posts or videos. Would they like them? Would they judge me? That constant worry took the fun out of it and made it hard to stay consistent. It wasn’t that I didn’t want to create—it was that I couldn’t find a way to do it authentically and comfortably.

My friend Mia actually mentioned the idea of starting a blog a couple months back, which I never really saw for myself at the time. Recently, I got out of my 2-year relationship, and I realized I had more time on my hands. I needed to use it wisely. I began to watch YouTube videos about how to improve my life. After going through numerous videos, some helpful some not I came across starting a website and it finally felt like everything clicked. I said why not start a blog that could hopefully one day be profitable.

This space is my middle ground—a place where I can share my dreams, lifestyle, and thoughts without the anxiety or constantly worrying about viewers or “likes.” It’s freeing in a way I never expected, and it brings me back to something I’ve loved since I was younger: writing. Back then, I mostly wrote fictional stories, letting my imagination run wild. Blogging is a step in a new direction, but it still feels familiar and comforting—like coming home to a part of myself I’d forgotten. Hobbies that I had forgotten I once loved. Now, I get to combine my love for writing with my desire to share pieces of my life and interests, all in a way that feels natural and enjoyable. I’m excited to see where this journey takes me. Whether it grows into something big or stays a small corner of the internet just for me and a few others, I’m ready to embrace the process. Thank you for being here and sharing this journey with me. Let’s see where it goes together!
